Santa Maria beach on Sal is simply stunning, offering four and a half miles of golden white sand.

You can always find your own piece of paradise here, whether it be enjoying long romantic strolls along the shoreline and relaxing into the pure peacefulness, or hunting out the excellent water sports that the waters provides the perfect playground for.

The island of Boa Vista is home to some of the most spectacular beaches in the archipelago and a dazzling 55km stretch of white powdery sands.  The most spectacular is Praia de Chaves, where the sand dunes have been sculpted by the winds into some amazing arcs.

Please note that most hotel beaches will operate a flag system, which must be adhered to.  Due to the strong winds found particularly in the winter months, large waves can be experienced, causing dangerous swimming conditions.
