To make the most of the islands we have put together some island hopping itineraries for you:

One Week Itineraries

These are ideal for people who have a limited amount of time but want to pack as much in as they can.  The Santiago & Island of Fire intinerary includes excursions of the islands.

Eleven Night Itineraries

We now have a new 11 night itinerary which takes in at least six of the islands. The Oosterschelde Tall Ship is available on various dates between November and February and offers you the chance to enjoy the archipelago by sea. Excursions can be arranged onboard and are payable locally.

Two Week Itineraries

We have a number of suggested itineraries that take in four or more islands however with no pre-planned excursions included this leaves you time to explore each island at your own pace. You can of course add excursions when you arrive on each island. 

Twin Centre Holidays

If our island hopping itineraries are a little too hectic or adventurous for you but you do want to experience a couple of islands then why not take advantage of one of our twin centre holidays.

Spend a week exploring Santiago or São Vicente and then a relaxing week on Sal or Boa Vista.

It's up to you of course however we recommend that your 'relaxing' time is the latter part of your holiday.

Twin centre holidays like this are based on an arrival into Sal or Boa Vista with a connecting flight onto the first island of your stay. You can also choose to spend your whole holiday on one island but split your stay between 2 different hotels...Its up to you!

Travelling Between The Islands

With the exception of Santo Antão, which is reached from São Vicente by a regular ferry service, the most practical way to reach the other islands featured in our holidays is by internal flights.  These flights are provided by TACV (Cabo Verde Airlines).  It should be noted that TACV can and do change schedules and flights are sometimes cancelled, delayed or even early!

Due to the travelling involved on our island hopping itineraries we don’t recommend this type of holiday for young children.
