Glasgow is Scotland’s long-haul gateway, serving Scotland's largest city and metropolitan area. A new purpose-built drop-off zone is now in operation at Glasgow Airport, and is free to use. All private vehicles, Renfrewshire Council taxis, Glasgow TAO taxis and private hire taxis should use this facility for the purposes of passenger drop-off. A designated pick-up point for private vehicles is located in Car Park 1 and a similar facility for private hire taxis/chauffeur services is located on the ground floor of Car Park 2. Flight information screens will provide live updates on all departing and arriving flights
