What We Think
Located in a residential area of Praia, the Praiamar is a well established hotel with a reputation for good service, facilities and food. Guests have use of a large swimming pool with Jacuzzi section, gym and sauna. The Panorama bar is an ideal spot to enjoy a drink overlooking one of the bays and there is live music most weekends in the Tabankamar, located in a separate building near to the hotel.
The location makes an excellent base from which to explore Praia, with its African markets, restaurants and vibrant nightlife. Alternatively why not take a trip across to the volcanic island of Fogo with its lunar landscapes, pretty town of São Filipe and of course the famous Fogo wine, which is only a short flight away from Santiago.
