Set in colourful, tropical gardens filled with hibiscus and palms, the family-run Orquidea Guest House is a charming, sea front property and a welcome addition to our Boa Vista collection.
With only 10 rooms surrounding the central courtyard, the property is small and intimate whilst the chattering macaws Abare and Kiriku, pet dogs and fresh water turtles living in the grounds all add to its quirky Cape Verdean character. All rooms are simply decorated and have a private balcony where you can enjoy the sea breeze whilst relaxing on a hammock.
Being only a stone’s throw from the coast, the property is the ideal choice for beach lovers – stroll through the sand dunes or cool off with a quick dip in the Atlantic Ocean, the choice is yours! The guest house is also less than 250m from the town square of Sal Rei, Boa Vista’s capital, with a handful of bars and restaurants playing live Cape Verdean music at the weekends.
Orquidea Guest House is the perfect choice for those wishing to get away from the larger resorts and experience the true Boa Vista.
