What We Think
In a unique location, this comfortable hotel enjoys a magnificent position on the headland in the upper part of the volcanic plains of São Filipe, on the 'island of fire', Fogo. The Xaguate offers well-furnished, air-conditioned bedrooms and there is a good sized swimming pool to enjoy a dip.
The hotel's restaurant serves mostly Portuguese cuisine and of course, offers the famous locally- produced wines made from vines that are grown in the warmth of the volcano's crater.
