We’re delighted to offer our guests the chance to explore the Cape Verde archipelago by embarking on a memorable cruise aboard the beautiful Harmony G Mega Yacht (Harmony V in W25/26), complete with a range of optional excursions.
Harmony G (November 2024 to March 2025 departures) is an elegant and modern vessel with just 21 cabins split across three decks. There is a naturalist on board to answer any questions on the wildlife you are sure to encounter.
Harmony V (November 2025 - Febuary 2026) with 25 cabins split across two decks is a modern yacht with main deck lounge & dining room providing beautiful views of the ports of call.
Taking place on selected dates, this seven-night, eight-day cruise experience offers holidaymakers a wonderful opportunity to explore six of Cape Verde’s most diverse islands. An elegant and modern vessel the Harmony G mega yacht boasts 21 luxury cabins. Take advantage of life on board; whether that’s soaking up the sunshine and views from the sundeck or sampling delicious cuisine in the dining room before retiring to the classy lounge. With an English-speaking cruise director and a maximum of 44 guests on board Harmony and 72 on Voyager, this is a truly unique and memorable cruising experience.
Cruise itinerary and optional extras Day 1: Embark at Palmeira on Sal island at 4pm and enjoy dinner before departing for Boa Vista overnight.
Day 2: After arriving early in the morning at Sal Rei, Boa Vista’s capital, you can relax upon some of the best beaches of the archipelago or take an optional all-day excursion to witness some of the island’s highlights and enjoy an authentic lunch at a local restaurant. Sail overnight to Santiago.
Day 3: Arrive at Praia, the capital of Cape Verde, and enjoy a morning of leisure with a tasty lunch on board. During the afternoon, opt to explore the history of the archipelago in the old capital and UNESCO World Heritage Site, Cidade Velha. Later in the evening, you’ll set sail for Fogo, the island of fire.
Day 4: Today you’ll get the chance to explore the magnificent volcano on Fogo, also Cape Verde’s highest peak, during an optional excursion. Discover the lunar-like landscape created by lava from the volcano and visit the town of São Felipe to uncover its colonial Portuguese charm. Sail overnight to São Vicente.
Day 5: Today you’ll have the opportunity to explore Cape Verde’s cultural heart; the city of Mindelo. With bustling cafés, lively restaurants and lots of live music to enjoy, you’ll get a real feel for life on the island. You can also embark on an optional walking excursion to visit galleries and restaurants, before overnighting in the port.
Day 6: Today, set sail for Santo Antão, an incredibly beautiful island featuring vast green rugged mountains and hidden craters. An optional excursion will take you to explore valleys and rock formations, along with an opportunity to try grogue, the national alcoholic drink. Head back to the yacht for dinner and stay overnight in the port.
Day 7: Today choose from two optional excursions, a half day to discover the south-western part of the island a safari through volcanic landscapes, porcelain field, and isolated villages, perfect for learning about life on this island, or a full day excursion including lunch, discovering the major sites of the island, passing by the famous road of Corda. After which you will depart Santo Antão for Sal, spending the night at sea.
Day 8: Disembark at Palmeira between 8am and 9am after a fulfilling breakfast on board.
Travelling to six of the 10 islands within Cape Verde, this seven-night add-on cruise package allows you to experience the diversity of each island and can be added to a holiday on Sal. Make the most of your time on each island by adding in some excursions!
This 7-night cruise is designed as an add-on to a longer holiday in Cape Verde; pricing does not include flights - additional nights can be added at any of our resort hotels.
Due to the nature of the itinerary, this cruise is only allowed for children aged seven and over.

Category Cabin C - A contemporary double or twin bedded cabin with two port holes, located on the lower deck, will sleep up to three - A third adult or child aged seven years or above can be accommodated in this cabin. Harmony V Cabins
All cabins are premium and contemporary and are decorated with soft colour furnisings with large windows, ensuite bathrooms with shower and elegant finishing on walls and floors. Each cabin is equiped with television, DVD player, mini fridge, hairdryer, individually controlled A/C and safety deposit box.

We start our excursion at Presidio, city’s main square, and continue to the 'colored market' with many kinds of fruit and vegetables. Continue passing by City Hall and many others old Sobrados (colonial houses), some of them already restored, we enter the Municipal Museum to learn about the history of one of the most important islands of the past. We continue with a visit to the natural park, appreciating the greatest attraction of Cape Verde and one of the most impressive landscapes in the world. Departure from São Filipe, with our first stop at Forno, one of the areas where the drop-by-drop irrigation method is used, a technique adopted by farms on the island in order to minimise the effect of drought. Then we continue to Achada Furna, a change to get to know the communities where new houses were built for population of Chã das Caldeiras after the eruption of 1995 and 2014. Although many of them had returned to the Caldeira. Continuing we stop in Cabeça Fundão where we have a nice view of many old craters and a landscape of mix colors. Finally, we arrive at the entrance of the Natural Park of Chã das Caldeiras to enjoy a stupendous view from the highest point from Cape Verde. Is our opportunity to trek to the 2014 crater, where one can find places extremely hot spots apart from the sulphur. Time to visit one of the two villages that was destroyed, in the eruption of 2014/2015. 98% of the houses, schools, restaurants, hotels, everything gone, but the people came back, strong to rebuild everything again. Lunch at Marisa house and time to taste the traditional Chã das Caldeiras wine better known as Manecon. A chance to purchase one of the best coffee in the world.
