Blog > How easy is it to book an island hopping holiday?
Lisa, from Carrick Travel, recently booked a 14-night island hopping holiday with us for her client, and here’s how she got on...
“When the client first came into our travel agency, their ideas involved doing something a little bit different. They wanted to relax on the beach (as many customers do), but they also wanted to make sure they saw beyond the beaches and really explored the cultural identity of their chosen destination.
We were quite quick to settle on Cape Verde, as I knew that Cape Verde Experience had some great holiday options for exploring the archipelago, and the destination also has the golden beaches my client was after for some much-needed R & R.
Santa Maria, Sal
Together, we looked at the various holiday ideas already provided, but the chance to tailor-make their escape really caught the attention of my client, so we decided to give Cape Verde Experience a call. After discussing my client’s ideas, which involved spending time on five different islands across 14 nights, Kerryn, the sales consultant I spoke to, was quick to put the chosen itinerary together and quoted a price within 24 hours of the enquiry.
It was so easy to do, and my client has ended up with a fantastic holiday experience, staying on Santiago, São Nicolau, São Vicente, Boa Vista and Sal, so they can spend the first part of their holiday exploring the history, culture and more rugged side to the archipelago, followed by some relaxation time on the beautiful beaches of Sal and Boa Vista. I couldn’t recommend island hopping in this destination enough, it’s great for those who want to experience the real Cape Verde.”
